Now that we’re in full swing and the timer construction is complete, we’re ready for Pinewood!
Really looking forward to seeing all of your creations! Who will be fastest of the day? Who was the most creative? I don’t know yet but I’d bet there are some pretty cool cars out there made by our scouts and families.
Right now weather is looking like snow will start about 2:00pm and drop 8-10 inches on us overnight. I anticipate being done racing by noon, this will leave plenty of time until the snow starts flying.
I think we can all agree that we’re excited for the festivities and we’ll see you Saturday, January 19th at 10:00am for the races!
Good morning, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the weather and it looks like we’re expecting another inch of rain on Saturday (BOOO, RAIN!). We have decided to move our Pack Event to Sunday, October 28th at 11:00am, we’ll still have rain but it should be much less.
I’ve heard that it’s pretty muddy out there this year so please dress for it, uniforms will not be required.
Good evening, I know it’s getting a little late for some but we’ll be concluding our “Scouting For Food” annual food drive tomorrow at 2:00pm. We’ll be starting at St. Paul’s and tracing the same routes we did last week, if you are able, please attend. Many hands make light work! That being said, weather is looking a little sub-optimum, temperatures will be about 35°f and partly sunny, so dress accordingly.
