I know I’m pretty excited! With our new Popcorn Kernel we did a pretty amazing job at getting out there and getting our fundraising done for the year.
With the end of the season at hand we will be collecting order forms, payment, and prize forms on October 26th, 6:30pm to 7:30pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. If you are able, please write 1 check to “Pack 37” as it will greatly speed up the accounting process. Amanda Fox and myself (Travis Morato) will be available to assist as well.
Now that the fundraising part is over we can get on about doing more fun scout stuff. We have a scouting for food collecting canned goods from the community that benefits the needy through food pantries. Scouting for food is on the horizon so keep an eye out for additional communications about exact dates.
Many dens have also been decorating for The Historical Society Christmas Tree Gala which will be opening to the public the middle of November. It’s a great effort by our scouts and any proceeds also go to benefit our community.
